WE NEED YOUR HELP TO
RECORD THE HISTORY OF THE GREAT LAKES AREA |
|
We are working to
record the history of the area and its people.
Unfortunately, whilst
we strive to provide the best possible detail, you will note from the
book that complete information is not available to us.
Many people have
invaluable material that could be added and would be of great interest
to the wider community.
Historic events and
people should not be forgotten.
PLEASE HELP US TO
FILL IN THE GAPS.

|
DO YOU HAVE
INFORMATION ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE GREAT LAKES AREA? |
|
DO
YOU HAVE: -
 |
Memories,
diaries, letters or any other source of information about the
history of the Great Lakes area? |
 |
An interesting
story of people, families, businesses, industries or anything else
you think might be suitable for inclusion in the book? |
 |
A written
chapter or chapters that might be added to the book? |
 |
Historic
objects or artifacts that you think might be suitable for display in
the Tuncurry Museum? |
If so please let us
know.
|
|
HOW CAN YOU HELP? |
|
If
you wish to help us record and preserve our history, you could: -
 |
Let us have old
letters, diaries, documents, maps, photographs, etc. |
 |
Write a chapter
about the history of relevant people, places or other matters of
interest. |
 |
Offer us
records or objects for possible inclusion in one
of our books or collection. |
 |
Talk! Record
your memories on a tape and then donate the tape to the Museum. |
(If you wish to
retain the original documents, it would be helpful if you would let
us scan them to take electronic copies.) |
|
DO YOU HAVE AN
ONLINE FAMILY HISTORY? |
|
Does your online
family history record past events in the Great Lakes area?
If so, please send us
details of its Web address so we can add it to our links page. |
